Warranty and help with a completed project
How our workmanship warranty works, who covers what, and how to reach us about a completed project.
What the warranty covers
- Work performed by our own team carries a one-year workmanship warranty from documented Final Completion.
- Work performed by subcontractors, for example licensed plumbing, electrical and HVAC, is covered by that subcontractor's own warranty.
- At the end of every project we provide a complete list of the subcontractors who worked on it, with their contact information.
- Manufacturer and product warranties, for example on fixtures, appliances, windows and cabinetry, are separate and follow the manufacturer's terms.
When coverage starts
Final Completion is the documented point at which the agreed work and any written changes are complete or resolved in writing, required inspections have passed, systems are working, cleanup is done, and the final walkthrough and handover records are complete. Your signed agreement holds the controlling definition.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from misuse, neglect or lack of normal maintenance
- Work by others after Final Completion, including changes or repairs made by someone else
Get help with a completed project
If something in your finished project needs attention, email or call us. If there is immediate danger, such as a gas smell, an electrical hazard or active water leaking, leave the area if needed and contact emergency services or your utility first, then let us know.
These details help us look into it:
- Your name
- Project address
- Affected item and where it is in the home
- When it started
- Description of what you are seeing
- Photos (attach any you have)
- Email: hello@boiseremodeling.co (opens a message with these details listed)
- Phone: (208) 477-1169
There is no portal or ticket to file. We answer and help you work out the next step. For subcontractor work, we can point you to the right subcontractor from the list you received at the end of the project.
Formal warranty notice
Your signed agreement controls formal warranty claims. If it names a notice method, use that method for a formal claim. An email or call is a good way to start, but it may not replace the notice your agreement requires. Our terms of service summarize how we work.
